NASIG 35th Annual Conference | June 2020
I was so appreciative that instead of cancelling the NASIG conference due to COVID-19, they decided to hold it entirely online. The presentations were interesting and I learned a lot about NASIG as a whole.

ALA Virtual 2020 | June 2020
I was able to attend ALA Virtual because of the reduced price. I was so happy to be able to see the conference during my first year as a graduate student to get a feel for the types of sessions they usually showcase. I would love to attend an in-person conference one day.

koha-US Annual Conference | September 2020
I attended the virtual koha-US conference as it was free. We use koha at work and though I don’t catalog very many things, I wanted to see what the sessions looked like. You can read my thoughts on the conference here.
ER&L Virtual Conference | March 2021
My NASIG mentor told me about ER&L and I was excited to attend the virtual event this year. I became a volunteer so that I could attend the conference for free. I watched so many short sessions! They were all very well done and that first keynote speaker was hilarious!

Launch (Texas Library Association) | Fall 2020
The TLA leadership program is designed for library professionals with less than five years of experience. Participants will learn and expand leadership skills which will serve them throughout their careers through group work, self-directed learning, and internal reflection.
