Practicum Log

I started working at Southwest Research Institute in April of 2020. With permission from my Practicum professor, I was able to include all of my hours from April through the end of the semester (December 4, 2020) into a cohesive log documenting the duties and projects I worked on as part of my Practicum experience.

Project Description: Document your experiences working at least 120 hours on a project or projects during your Practicum. At the conclusion of the Practicum, write a two-page reflection on what you learned, what surprised you, what you liked/disliked, what you look forward to, etc.

LinkedIn and LinkedUp: How to Use LinkedIn to Help Your Career Goals is a mock-up of an academic service provided to graduate students in the Department of Information Science at the University of North Texas. In the presentation, we focus on eight learning outcomes that students can utilize on their LinkedIn accounts.

INFO 5600 - Information Access and Knowledge Inquiry | Spring 2020
Project Description: As a group, develop an instructional information service for a specific clientele. Groups must create a document with needs assessment, marketing plans, and evaluations. Group must also create a PowerPoint presentation for sharing with students and to mimic the presentation portion of the project.
Contributions: Marketing plan, marketing materials, marketing timeline, marketing designs, PowerPoint background, format of PowerPoint materials, and editing of LinkedIn images in Photoshop to preserve account privacy.
